"Hello Mary Anne!
I agree - that is probably my all-time favourite Jeanne Bice line - I smile every time I get to repeat it on air either in the US or in the UK on QVC - it makes me feel as though Jeanne is right there beside me on the set!!
Thanks for the note! We had soooo much fun taking that picture - it was a silly day for sure! Kristy, who works on our team takes most of the pictures for us - and I think she's great!!!! I really must…"

I would have to say that is probably Jeanne's most famous 'line' of all!!!! I LOVED it when she said that one!!!
Hope that you're well - and having a delightful weekend!!!
Love to you and your family!!!

Hi Patrick, I thought I had seen that animal print sweater in another photo. Jeanne's story about her mother coming down for the day wearing animal print is my all time favorite story of her's...so funny!
I'm busy gathering information on Cruising, how fitting to hear there will be another Quacker Cruise, I have never been on a cruise so I've much to learn. I hope you will be willing to share any information or stories about your adventure on the 2006 Cruise?
Do join in if you wish as I do love hearing the stories and I am gleaning vital information at the same time. Those days go by so fast the more I understand beforehand the happier my time will be spent. I hope to go on the cruise, I understand it was a great event, for me it's a matter of my husband validating his Passport, mine is ready to rock and roll.
Dear Patrick, would you be willing to come by a Guest Corner I am working on and write a paragraph or two about what you enjoyed about that last cruise? Hmmm? I am on a mission to liven things up a bit more and I know everyone would love to hear a male perspective? I've invited several guest speaker's and now am awating their response, they have been invited to speak about other topic's. Your my cruise guy should you be willing to take on this mission. Please.
Warmest Regards, Debbie
Glad you enjoyed the blog. Operation North Pole has been changed a bit since I wrote that blog. We are no longer associated with United Airlines-getting everyone through security for a fantasy flight was so difficult. Now we do the Polar Express and put the families on a train out to the end of the line where Greg and I meet them with hot chocolate and happy meals. All along the route they have fire and rescue squads come out to the different stops to cheer the train on-they get on the train at the different stops and give stuff to the kids and families. We live at the end of the line and when we went out there last year there was about 15 fire trucks and firefighters in their gear waiting to greet the kids. They even landed the helicopter in the parking lot. Then the kids go back into the city to a big party with all sorts of activities and when they are ready to go home they go and see Santa and Mrs. Clause. It is a wonderful event and it makes you laugh and cry. My husband's singing group sings a fundraiser in October where money is earned to help defray the expenses of an undertaking like this. The children all submit wish lists and they are posted around the hall and people can chose to buy one or two items off the list or contribute a whole list for one child. The generosity of people is amazing. The Choirboys are so happy to be atttched to such a wonderful charity. All the benefit concerts that the guys sing they do for free. It's a two way street-they get an opportunity to perform and they get to help charities or not for profits at the same time. If you want to sample a few songs off their latest CD and see their video you can check it out at www.thechoirboys.net
Interestingly enough, about two years ago after Jeanne had made another mention of Johhny Mathis on air I sent her a Johhny Mathis CD with all his old classics and I included a couple of the older Choirboys CD's as they had some Everly Brothers songs on them and an Ave Maria that I thought that she might appreciate, having gone to Catholic schools in her youth. However,I never knew if she received them or not as I never got a response back and I think I sent them with an email address and also said I was on this sight. I do so hope she received them and enjoyed them and a response back was just overlooked because I think she would have liked them as it was music from her era; and I know she would have loved the Johhny Mathis CD. Greg is also a Mathis fan and can't hear one of his songs without singing along. Hope you have something fun planned for the weekend. Have a great one!
You just missed having your birthday on 12-12-12 by a day-now if only they could add an extra month you could have 13-13-13 next year. I hope you have a wonderful day full of friends and fun. Hopefully someone is taking you out to dinner. After all-one is only 25 once! Have a great day and what the heck-Celebrate for a week!
